SASTRI has been functioning in the Honorable Memory of Guru Sri. Poomully Neelakanthan Namboodiripad, since 2006. This trust mainly aims to preserve the traditional education of Ayurveda and other Shastras.SASTRI enables the opportunities for traditional training in Ayurveda, Yoga and Darsanas to Ayurvedic students who have completed their academic studies.
Practical & theoretical training in: - Panchakarma procedures, preparation of medicinal formulations and Yoga are provided here for BAMS pass-outs. Daily classes on Samhitas are conducted in Asokalayam.
We are also focused on conducting various studies & researches in Ayurveda and its branches.
We conduct annual Vakyartha Sabhas (Debates and discussion on Shastras), seminars and workshops at the behest of this Trust in Asokalayam.
. We are strictly following the Ayurvedic Traditional method.
. All Panchakarma Chikitsas are provided & all types of PURVA KARMAS (Snehapaanam, Shirodhaara, Swedanam, Abhyangam, Kati Vasti, Shiro Vasti, etc)
. Rasaayana Chikitsa, Rakta Moksham & other supportive systems like Yoga Therapy , Psychological Counselling , Pranic Healing etc as per need.
. Doctor’s care through out the period of treatment for in patients
. Daily prepared medicated decoctions will be provided.
. Pathya Food mentioned in the Ayurvedic classics will be provided.
