Poomully Neelakanthan Namboothiripad Poomully Neelakanthan Namboothiripad, popularly known as Aram Thampuran, was born in 1921 to a renowned Namboothiri family in Kerala called Poomully Mana. He was an extraordinary personality who had spread his wisdom in various walks of knowledge. After completing Vedic studies as per the customs, learned Nyaya, Mimamsa, Vedanta and various texts of Ayurveda & Visha chikitsa (toxicology) under Shri Cherukulapurath Krishnan Namboothiri and also mastered in Yoga & Kalari under several Gurus. Relying on the acquaintance he had in Yoga & Kalari, Aram Thampuran brought unique insights into Ayurveda. Many rarely practiced Ayurvedic treatments such as Kuti-Praveshika-Rasayana Chikitsa were executed under his guidance. He was also an expert of Hasthyayurveda (a branch of Ayurveda dealing with treatment of elephants ). In the light of his knowledge, which was synergistic and comprehensive, Aram Thampuran led his disciples to new dimensions of wisdom.

Vaidyamadham Valiya Narayanan Namboodiri was a legendary Ayurvedic physician, from the renowned Ashtavaidya family called as Vaidyamadham. This illustrious tradition has a history of more than 3000 years. Dr Devan started his practice under the guidance of this great guru after his BAMS studies.

Brahmashri Vaishrvanath Vasudevan Namboodirippad was a scholar of Advaita Vedanta. He belongs to the famous Koodallur tradition, an ancient tradition in Kerala that has passed down the knowledge of the Sastras through many generations.
